Building on Part 1, this program focuses on applying safe techniques in real workplace situations to protect both you and the people you support. Through engaging videos, interactive activities and real-life case examples, you’ll learn how to assess complex manual handling tasks, select and use equipment safely, work effectively as a team, and adapt your approach to suit different environments, mobility levels and behavioural needs. You’ll explore common risks in homes, vehicles and community settings, and gain the confidence to speak up, plan ahead and prevent injury before it happens. By the end of this course, you’ll be able to complete more advanced transfers and repositioning tasks using best-practice principles, follow workplace policies and NDIS practice standards, and contribute to a safer, more respectful care environment.
